You're Gonna Miss This... Q-Shot: Cartoon, VGNO

The TV has not been on as much lately during the day at our house, I am doing my best to play with my kids instead of letting the "boob-tube" babysit them. One of my favorite cartoons that gets my kids moving is Yo Gabba Gabba.

My mini-munchkin stays on her feet from the time DJ Lance enters with his boom box till the credits roll. She jumps, dances, shakes and sings. I love watching her when she thinks no one is looking, I for sure want to remember these moments.

What do your kids love to watch? Which ones do you secretly watch? (mine is Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends!)I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Okay, Yo Gabba Gabba is just bizarre!

The 2 yr old I nanny for is all into Dora and Diego and there is only so much of it I can take! Although it is super cute when the 2 year old will randomly say spanish words. Like she always says "Ayudame!" when she needs help with something!

What is that orange thing?
My kids are a bit past that stuff but, sometimes relaxation on the couch with TV or a video can be a good thing for all....

Happy VGNO!

Mine is grown so I get MTV, but he kept me entertained and up to date on all the popular cartoons when he was little.
They grow up way to fast.

Oh, I LOVE Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - haven't seen it in a while, it's never on at the 'right' time... Currently the Princess Nagger is all about watching Cyberspace (on PBS) or Jimmy Neutron on Nick - but her all time favorite is Code Lyoko which isn't on any more, so I had to get the first season on DVD so she could watch it... ;) Love that picture of your mini-munchkin - so great to capture those moments!! :)

Happy VGNO! :)

Stopping by from the VGNO

I was going to ask the same question on my blog

My daughter is older- the shows she watches that I secretly like are Drake & Josh and I Carley.

I also secretly like "That 70's Show"- and I used to have a fit if the boys (older teens) tried to watch it.

My daughter loves to watch Mystery Diagnosis, Dr. G's Autopsy Show etc...Ahh, yes, I am so proud. I surly live for the moments when a strange rash appears on my arm and my 10 yr old tells me I may have a strange, obscure disease. LOL!

LOL! Yo Gabba Gabba is a little strange to me, but it DOES get the kids' attention! My husband and I watch Spongebob all the time, even when the kids are nowhere around! ;)

Great memory, I will miss how excited they will get over these silly cartoons, too!

We've had the tv off too for awhile, but I think it has more to do with the warmer weather, we've actually gotten to go outside! Yeah!

We all sit down together for Phineas and Ferb.

Great moment to miss. It's so fun watching how different things make our children laugh, dance, and make them joyful.

I used to watch Barney with our children and it didn't bother me like it does some people. They loved him!

MY KIDS ARE PRETTY NEAR GROWN NOW,
(19&15)BUT I ALWAYS TAKE PLEASURE IN WATCHING WHATEVER IT IS THAT THEY ARE WATCHING,JUST SO WE HAVE THOSE MOMENTS TOGETHER...EVEN IF THE SHOW IS BORING AS HECK,IT BEATS NOT KNOWING WHERE THEY ARE OR WHAT THEY ARE DOING,OR HAVING THEM STUCK UP IN THEIR ROOMS WITH THE DOOR CLOSED!
