I feel better, my body is less puffy looking, and I think I've lost weight. Why ruin feeling good?
Each day using Isagenix is easier then the last. I wake up excited about what flavor shake I will create. It has been fun to search Pinterest for shake recipes. I am having some
high highs and low lows with this program. Mainly because it’s making me really
evaluate me. I had 2 pretty tough days and 2 pretty good ones.
Day 6 was just a bad
day. One of those days where it feels like negativity follows you. In the
evening I finally decided to quit being a baby and head to the gym for yoga, I
stood on the scale (1st time in a week) and saw I had Lizziehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00623717575962998311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6605648981654838455.post-35063188328093705162017-11-08T19:35:00.000-05:002017-11-08T19:36:56.006-05:00Motivated in Day 4 & Day 5

Basically I drink nutritious liquid all day with a few small snacks here and there. That is it. Last night I was dreading this, feeling like I wouldn't have the ability to make it all day. Well, so far so good!
The snack wafers Isagenix provides for the 30 day system reminds me of large flintstone vitamins. Do I get an award? haha
Today was easier then yesterday, I did not get hungry until just before dinner. Which was a yummy baked turkey breast, stuffed with cranberries and topped with tons of delicious low fat mushroom turkey gravy. Green beans and left over wild rice and oats from yesterday. (yikes) Day 1I hate to cook and that makes eating healthy very difficult. So once I saw the scale tip to a place I was not even close to comfortable with, I knew it was time to make some changes. This is my accountability for the next 30 days.
I started the Isagenix 30 day cleansing and fat burning system today.
Day 1 food went pretty well. Look, I even had green stuff!
Breakfast was an Isalean Shake, Lizziehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00623717575962998311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6605648981654838455.post-4631656155339480612015-10-07T13:26:00.001-04:002017-10-24T10:30:29.967-04:00But, what do you do all day? Everything. "What do you do all day?"
"I bet you guys just play and play"
"Do the kids really learn?"
"Must be nice to be lazy all the time!"
These are a few of the things I've heard since we started homeschooling. People are genuinely curious, I don't mind. There's many more regular comments, some very nice and some not so nice. But I wanted to tackle the ones that pertain to our average day. This year my family and I took on a large change, to educate the kids at home. Since this was such a big shift for us I have tried my best to keep every other aspect of our lives exactly the same. Afraid too much change would send us all into a tailspin.

Sherlock
Doctor Who
Any Jane Austen book to TV adaptation
I have an unhealthy love of all things Disney.
I could live in Cinderella's castle at the end of Main Street USA and be quite content.

Anxiety
Excitement
Nerves
Doubt
Hopeful
Scared
These are the feeling surging through me right now. We have officially decided to educate our children at home. Not because their current school is bad, but because we feel we can show them more. I want them to be able to explore any topic as deeply as they want, and to sore at their own pace. It's perfect for our family. We're a little quarky so a log cabin with character makes sense. I like when a persons home reflects who they are. Like when dogs look like their owners!
(see! it's perfect!)
But then another house distracted me, and I started to doubt how much I loved mine.
"Oh! Shiny and new! More land! Closer to town!" I started to think things Lizziehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00623717575962998311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6605648981654838455.post-41504500800446093012012-12-30T18:53:00.001-05:002012-12-30T18:53:17.906-05:00Transformed I can honestly say that I have been in a "funk" spiritually for quite a while. I have not felt like myself. Wake up every day, go through the motions of life but feel an emptiness, a disconnect with my Heavenly Father.
It has been hard on me.
Always seeking.
Knowing I was in this for a reason.
Not knowing the lesson He wanted me to learn.
Or how long this "darkness" would go on.

Technically we've been together 12 years, but 10 as husband and wife. why do we never get to count those years? I loved those first two!

We have both changed so much since that wonderful day in August 2002. We're a little wider in the waist, and thicker in the head.

Yet, here I am with my head full of thoughts that just won't stop. I have felt so guilty recently about my parenting. I'm not perfect, far from it. but I wonder... what will my kids remember about me when they're older?

Should I get a coffee table or use an ottoman instead?
Is it chilly, do the kids need pants for school and not shorts?
To clean the house or watch the Sex In The City movie?
Am I content or am I restless?
That last one is a choice I feel like I have to make every day. I am the restless type. I love change (mostly). It keeps me on my toes.
