Music for the Soul

Many of you know who Jason Mraz is, if not... You're CRAZY! His music is true poetry with an acoustic guitar.

I know that Jen over at Under The BIG Blue Sky shares my obsession with this artist, so go visit her and tell her I sent you. :)

If I am having a bad day I can pop in his CD and drift away to a happy place. Or on a good day his songs make my smile even wider. I'm sure I sound like a high school girl talking like this but it's all true. And he's pretty adorable too.

His music style is sort of like Jack Johnson & Colbie Caillat, but a bit more edgy (these 2 musicians are awesome too.) Jason's music is very soothing and relaxing, perfect for a cup of tea on the front porch moment.

Most of his songs are good for all ages, especially when your kids are riding in the car with you. But, there are a few you might not want to play with little ears listening so be aware. Here are a few of my favorite songs by him, enjoy!

(These videos were from a live concert he did in Korea in 2007, hence the foreign language along the bottom. It's the best quality videos of these songs i could find)

Life Is Wonderful

Is it just me, or in that top picture, does he look a lot like Hugh Grant? Thanks for the links, it's always fun to discover new, good music.

I am completely looking forward to this weekend. Hope yours is great.

JASON MRAZ!!!! Whoo hoo. He makes me feel like a giddy teenager too, but you know that already.

Actually, yes, it is the most relaxing music to have on in the house and I always go back to it.

When I ask my girls what music they want to listen to during dinner they always say, "JASON MRAZ"!

But yes, there are those songs that make my insides go all wiggly jiggly too.

And that's one of my favorite pictures too!
