du dum, du dum, du dum...

IT'S SHARK WEEK!Yeah Baby!!

I love love love when the Discovery Channel hosts "Shark Week." My DVR is all set to record the action. I have learned over the years that my young children aren't really as into some of the footage as I am (or rather I don't want them to see some of it so they can still freely enjoy the ocean without trauma!)

What am I doing right this second you ask? Watching the Mythbusters Shark Week Special of course. My love of geeky goodness mixed with my fascination for one of the planets deadliest creatures... Awww, I'm in heaven :)

Alrighty guys, hope you have a great week. Oh yeah, and have fun in the water!! hee hee

au revoir, adieu, ciao, till next time...

I've seen the commercials and it looks good, but I have never actually watched shark week! That might have to change!

That last pic brings back memories of going to see Jaws in the theater (yes, I'm that old!) we sat in the front row. We very nearly popped back a couple rows when the shark filled the screen like that...oh my goodness!...I will never forget it!!

Call me a sicko, but I wanna see the REAL tape of that poor girl in the water that gets sucked down while being videotaped. That 30 second spot is such a tease!!

I don't want no re-enactments, lol!! Sharks are crazy scary. LOOK at those teeth!!!!

I just realized last night while flipping around that once again, Shark Week is upon us. Gah! Love it. I get some serious grief from a couple of friends about the way I geek out about it, but I can't help it. I'm deathly afraid, yet fascinated all the same. Shark Week for the win! WOOT!

love mythbusters, but yikes, if I watched Shark Week, I might not ever even get in the shower again! and God knows what it would do to poor Ems.

Ok, so it's Wednesday and you haven't posted again. I'm cool with that. Not really.

PS. I forgot to email you more deets about the area, didn't I? Did you decide anything yet?

Basically, what I wanted to tell you was that if you chose this area, there's one town NOT to live in and two where you can count on the schools to be good. :)

LOL, my brother was teasing my great nephew (his grandson) about sharks the whole time we were with them at the shore... Austin will not go in the ocean for fear of sharks, and that was made worse by the fact that it was shark week on the Discovery Channel. On Monday, they cleared the water due to a medical situation, and my brother called from his cell phone up to the house to have Austin look out to see the water was cleared... telling him it was because some one was attacked by a shark.... bad bad grandfather!
